My post about how to make dip flowers previously was a hit. Thanks to all the readers.

So, in this post I’m gonna share on how to make the filler flowers.. Do read

This is the materials that we need–>Coloured wires, plier, Q-dip, polystrene, and a round small cylinder (I used my lipstick here :p) Not shown in the picture-Floral tape and pearl beads.

The first step is to wrap the wire around the cylinder. If you want to make three petals flower, loop it three times as shown above. You can also loop it four or five times for more petals.

Secure the end with plier by making a knot. When you tie the knot, all loops must be joined at a point. Make sure that no sharp end sticking out to prevent injury.

After that, pry the loop open.

Start shaping it into a heart shape by pinching the centre of each petal.

Dip the outline of the filler flower into the chemical dip. You will get a thin layer of the crystal dip following exactly the outline of the petals.Do it slowly and carefully, like handling soap bubbles as the dip may break. Use thinner to dilute the dip chemical if it becomes thicker. The chemical becomes thicker when exposed to air for a long time.

Next, let the flower to dry out on the polystrene. You may also add glitters to the petals while the dip is still wet for glamourous touch. The picture above also shows the example of four petals flowers with different petals shape.

When the flower is totally dried, tidy the stalk using floral tape. It takes few hours for it to dry but usually I left it overnight.

Lastly, glue a pearl bead at the centre of the flower. You may also improvise  by using sequins or various beads in market.

These dip filler flower goes well with bigger dip flower. When they are combine together, they can be made into bunga telur and bunga dulang.

In part I and II, we managed to do the petal and the flower stamen. In this part III (final part), we are going to assemble the two together.

First, tie the stamen to the petal using thread or wire.

Using floral tape, tidy it up nicely around the join and the stem.

Then, start shaping the bottom part of the petal around the stamen bulb.

Ensure that it overlaps each other.

This is what you should get :

Shape the petal to a more realistic look by pinching the end.

And along the petal.

So there you go A Calla Lily

You may try using various colours of stocking, either two tone or single tone. Remember, the stamen and the petal must be of two different colours.

Tips : If the petal is of darker colour of stocking, use lighter one for the stamen..and vice versa

In part I, we have successfully made the Calla Lily petal.. Now, it’ is time to make the flower stamen.

You will need a long thick wire and tissues.

Start making the stamen by folding a tissue into two.

Then, fold it again to get this size :

Take the wire and start rolling the tissue to one end.

Roll it neatly into a pear shape. When finished rolling the first layer of tissue, add another layer.

Secure the end of rolled tissue with green tape.

You should get something like this :

Next, take a single tone stocking and wrap the pear shaped tissue with it.

Do it over and over about 4 to 5 layers. Cut the extra material from the stamen.

So, let us try it together.

You will need–> Pliers, scissor, thread@ SWG 28 wires, bamboo stick or thick wire, Nylon flower stocking (single tone and two tone), green tape, big cylinder and gold wires.

We will start by making the petal first

A Calla lily has a big petal, therefore you will need a big cylinder to form it. In this example, I used a plastic jar I found at home. Be creative, you can use anything as long as it produces a big loop

Keep around 2 cm of wire around the handle and tidy it up using pliers.

Cut the excess wire with scissor or cutter.

Stretch two tone Nylon stocking around the petal form. Remember to cover both sidesa and do be careful when handling the Nylon material..We don’t want to tear it.

Secure the stocking with SWG 28 wires or thread. Snip away the excess stocking.

You should get something like this :

Well, the petal is done.

We’ll continue making the stamen in  part II

Till then

First of all, loop a gold wire 3 times on the marker pen. It is the same technique as the 5 petals flower previously.

Secure the loop with plier.

Open the wire loop and start shaping it according to the picture below. You can achieved it by pinching the loop with your fingers.

Then, take a pink nylon stocking and wrap it around the flower outline. Remember to cover both front and back neatly. Cut the excess stocking.

When you are done wrapping it with nylon material, you can glue a pearl bead at the center of the flower as per the picture below. You will need to make two small flowers for the hairband.

Glue a pearl bead too at the center of the 5  petals flower that you made earlier.

It should look something like this :

After that, take the hair band and arrange the leaves on it. Glue the leaves to the hair band.

Then, start arranging the flowers on it. You can start by gluing the 5 petals flower at the center of the leaves. finally, arrange the small flowers on the right and left side of the bigger flower.

You can add up more flowers according to your creativity.

I made this by combining small golden flowers with red one.  Add a bit of beads and gold ribbons.. Tadaa!!

Red and gold are indeed a good match!

You will need–> Glue, pliers, scissor, thread@SWG 28 wires, Nylon flower stocking, hair band, pearl beads, 2 cylinders of different size ( I used a marker pen and and small lotion bottle) and gold wires.

You will also need dried green leaves. The leaves i used are from rubber trees. The Chlorophyll are removed and then the leaves are dyed green. You may also substitute these leaves with another type convenient to you.

First of all, we are going to make the 5 petals flower. You will need to loop a gold wire using  a bigger cylinder ( here, lotion bottle).

Ensure that you loop the wire 5 times as we  are making a 5 petals.

Secure the end with pliers by making a knot. When you tie the knot, all loops must be joined at a point. Make sure that no sharp end sticking out to prevent injury.

Next, open up the 5 loops and start to shape it according to the picture below.

Use the end of the plier to bend the wire at the center of every petals.

This is what it is suppose to look like. For first timers, you might not get a tidier result. You need to keep practice doing it!

After that, used a two tone stocking to wrap the wire. The nylon material should cover  both front and back of the wire. It should fit snuggly but don’t overstretch or else you will tear the material.

Tie around the end of the nylon material and your shaped wire . Since there are 5 petals, you must tie each petals individually. Snip away the excess nylon material.

You have managed to make the center flower  for the hair band

I found a video on YouTube on how to make tulip. Decided to try it myself. So here’s the result. Mind you it’s not perfect as it is my first time doing it. Do consult the video for prettier example,ahaks!

how to make nylon flower (tulip)

You will need/Anda memerlukan–> pliers,scissor,thread@SWG 28 wires,Nylon flower stocking,flower stamens,bamboo stick,floral tape,and gold wires.

Anda memerlukan–>playar,gunting,benang@dawai saiz 28,stoking bunga nylon,inti bunga,batang buluh, pita  pelilit dan dawai emas.

First of all,cut a gold wire into 3 small pieces.Next,shape the already cut wires into tulip petals using pliers.

Langkah pertama,potong dawai emas kepada 3 bahagian.Seterusnya,bentukkan dawai yang siap dipotong menjadi kelopak tulip.

Add an inner wire by taking a wire and make a hook at one end,then attached it to the petal. It should look like this :

Hasilkan kelopak yang mempunyai dawai di tengah dengan mengambil dawai dan bentukkan cangkuk dihujungnya. Kemudian sambungkan dawai itu kepada kelopak menggunakan playar. Hasilnya  :

Next, shaped 3 more petals. This time without the inner wire and sligthly smaller to the previous one.

Seterusnya, buat  lagi 3 kelopak. Namun, tanpa dawai di tengah dan lebih kecil sedikit.

After that,wrap the petals with stocking individually.Ensure that the back and front of the petals are fully covered with stocking. Stretch the stocking neatly and tie the end with thread@wires.Do not overstretch the stocking as it is easy to be torn. This is the basic of using nylon stocking.

Selepas itu,balut kelopak dengan stoking secara berasingan.Pastikan bahagian depan dan belakang kelopak ditutupi sepenuhnya.Tarik stoking dengan kemas dan ikat hujungnya mengunakan benang@dawai.Jangan menarik stoking terlalu tegang kerana ia mudah koyak.

Take 3 silver stamens and tie it with 1 yellow stamen (slightly higher) with wires. Attach the stamens to the bamboo stick using floral tape.

Ambil 3 inti bunga berwarna perak dan ikatkan dengan dawai. Cantumkan inti bunga kepada batang buluh menggunakan pita pelilit.

Join all 6 petals upside down, starting with the one with inner wires. Tidy up the joining point with floral tape.

Cantumkan semua kelopak secara terbalik, bermula dengan kelopak yang mempunyai dawai tengah. Kemaskan bahagia sambungan dengan pita pelilit.

Then, arrange the petals by folding it upwards. Form the petals so that it mimics tulip shape.

Susun kelopak-kelopak itu dengan melipatnya ke atas. bentukkan kelopak-kelopak itu mengikut bentuk bunga tulip.

As for the leaves, shaped another pair of wires exactly like the petals with inner wires. Except that make it longer to resemble tulip leaves.

Untuk menghasilkan daun, bentukkan dawai seperti kelopak yang mempunyai dawai tengah. Cuma, pastikan ianya lebih panjang seperti dain bunga bunga tulip.

Finally, join the leaves to the flower.

Akhir sekali, cantumkan daun-daun itu kepada bunga.

The end result :

It’s not perfect but still with a little bit of practice and efforts it’ll be better ;)

Gadis pengiring boleh menambah seri majlis perkahwinan anda. Namun, baju dan aksesori untuk mereka sahaja menyebabkan bajet perkahwinan menjadi tinggi. Mari berjimat dengan menghasilkan sendiri klip rambut gadis pengiring

You need to have–>scissor, SWG 26 wires, artificial flowers (preferably with beads),g old strings, green floral tape, basic hairclip, needle, pearl beads, and glue.

Anda memerlukan–>Gunting, Wayar saiz 26, bunga (dengan manik), tali emas,k lip rambut, pita pelilit hijau, manik mutiara, jarum dan gam.

First step is to wrap the wire with the floral tape about 5 cm.

Langkah pertama,lilit dawai dengan pita pelilit sebanyak 5 cm.

Then,start taping  the flower to the wire.

Kemudian,mulakan melilit bunga kepada dawai.

Add another flower to it until there are about four flowers arranged to the wire.

Tambahkan bunga lagi kepada dawai sehingga empat kuntum kesemuanya.

When all four flowers are arranged, tidy up the excess wire around another 5cm.

Apabila keempat-empat bunga sudah disambung,lilitkan lebihan dawai sebanyak 5cm lagi.

After that, take the gold strings and glue pearl beads on it. Tie the strings to the flowers. You have to make 3 sets of pearl strings. The length of the strings may vary according to your taste.

Selepas itu, ambil manik mutiara dan lekatkan manik tersebut kepada tali emas. Ikat tali emas itu kepada bunga yang dihasilkan tadi. Anda perlu menyediakan 3 utas tali manik mutiara. Panjang tali bole diubah berdasarkan kemahuan anda.

Finally, tie the wire arranged with flowers to the hairclip. The wire is soft enough to be twisted by hand. Do it neatly as to prevent the sharp end of the wire from harming the person who is going to wear the clip.

Akhir sekali, ikatkan dawai yang disusun dengan bunga tadi kepada klip rambut.Memandangkan ianya agak lembut,dawai itu boleh dipintal dengan tangan. Pastikan hujung dawai yang tajam diikat dengan kemas bagi mengelakkan kecederaan kepada pemakai.

Do the same with the other end.

Begitu juga untuk hujung berikutnya.

There you go A pretty hairclipfor a pretty flower girl!

Lihatlah hasilnya Klip cantik untuk gadis pengiring.

It’s pretty and easy to do!
